Recent ActivityClass Announcements Homework for the rest of the year 2010Students should not have any more homework for the rest of the year. We are making games as a review for our 4th quarter test (final exam). Students have been working in groups to focus on what their particular game will entail. We will be having our 4th quarter test on Monday, June 14.
Field Day 2010Dear Parents,
We are planning to have Field Day for the 6th grade students on
Thursday, June 17. Mrs. Perkins, our Athletic Director and PE teacher, is organizing a number of stations and fun events, BUT we need your help to make it happen. We will need a minimum of two to three volunteers per advisory to work that day at the stations.
Our schedule will look like this:
--After checking in at the office, parents will meet outside the auxiliary gym at 8:15 a.m. for a brief meeting with Mrs. Perkins for assignments. (Please bring a picture I.D.)
--Students will go outside about 8:30 for a brief meeting with Mrs. Perkins who will discuss the guidelines they must follow.
--Students will move from station to station until about 10:15 a.m.
--You will be free to go home at about 10:15…and prop up your feet!
On Field Day, students will be treated to pizza. Students will need to bring a drink and anything else they would like to eat. Students must dress appropriately for physical activity which will include sneakers (no open toed shoes) for running. The dress code for students must be followed in order to participate…no sleeveless shirts. Redline or academic ineligible students will be kept in a detention room. We are also requesting no younger siblings or any helpers under the age of 21.
Please come and help us make this school year end on a positive note for our sixth graders. We thank you in advance for all your help this year and for this day in particular.
